Training workshop on preparation of nomination file of ICH elements to be inscribed on UNESCO ICH lists

Within the framework of the implementation of the third phase of the project, after study and extensive research between elements of implementation of international destinations post and views national implementing agreed on planned projects in each of the three countries participating in the third phase, namely Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan, as well as the mechanics of implementation according to each country, but this has organized the Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO: training workshop on "preparation of nomination file of ICH elements to be inscribed on UNESCO ICH lists" Cairo during the period from 24 to 28 November 2012
 
Workshop Objectives:
• Intangible Heritage Convention definition and increase awareness of the importance of preserving our heritage immaterial,
• Project Definition (Mediterranean living heritage - Medliher)
• UNESCO definition lists (Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity - List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding)
• Training and preparing staff to give effect to the terms of the agreement and how to prepare a file to be inscribed on UNESCO ICH lists.
• prepare a preliminary list of intangible cultural heritage elements to be inscribed on UNESCO ICH Lists.
• reaching preparing to file an item can insert it on the Representative List, and another one on the list of Urgent Safeguarding.
 
Lecturers:
Participated in this workshop lecturers experts accredited to UNESCO as technical specialist program designed by UNESCO contains elements Tdrebehmt_khassh.
Trainees:
Participated in the workshop trainees specialists representing different sectors of the culture concerned intangible heritage in Egypt where he attended about 30 trainees from all of Cairo - Damietta - Alexandria - Kafr El-Sheikh - Assiut - Red Sea - Port Said - Dakahlia - Sinai - Marsa Matruh - Minya.
