The Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO organized a program to enhance the skills of UNESCO's youth and help exchange their experiences, in the light of UNESCO's efforts to promote the culture of peace, international understanding and intercultural dialogue . The objectives of the course are:- 1-Training a group of youth to qualify them to be leaders of the future. 2-Studying means to make of UNESCO a social organization serving the community. 3-Comprising groups to investigate and detect the results of the project. 4-Selecting professionals to participate in the regional , local and international activities of UNESCO. 5-Supporting the establishment of UNESCO's Friends Association for Youth. It is intended to develop the following skills:- 1-The skill to develop positive relationships among the youth, adults and members of society on different levels. 2-The skill to present, use and express ideas. 3-The skill and ability to debate and convince others. 4-The skill and ability to manage meetings. 5-The skill to deal with colleagues and help them to do their duties efficiently. 6-Aquiring the ability of confrontation and criticism. 7-Aquiring problem solving techniques. 8-Connecting the group's activities and coordinating them for integration. 9-Aquiring management skills. 10-Using self-criticism and assessment techniques. The lecturers:- An elite academics from concerned associations in the fields of education, science, culture, information and communication lectured in that course. The participants:- A two training courses were organized:- 1- One held for the students from the associated schools and UNESCO's clubs and their supervisors. 2-The other for the students of Egyptian Universities and their supervisors.
