 Currently, providing food for all became an increasing necessity. It became a hot topic not only on the local or national scale but also on the international level. Nutrition preoccupies all governments and citizens all over the world. Nutrition is a set of physiological process which provides the human being with the essential elements to be able to produce enough energy to operate all vital processes that go inside the body and to secure survival, growth, activity and action. Balanced nutrition gives people the protection needed against diseases and provides them with a good health physically and psychologically, and also enables the human being to work and acquire new skills. The means of cure nowadays highly consider the wisdom that says "prevention is better than cure". With the lack of resources and the increase in population rates, efforts are exerted to increase production of food and to reduce the pests that feed on the crops and get rid of insecticides that result in many poisoning cases .This requires concentration of efforts on all levels. The food circulation processes starting from harvesting, transportation, storage, wholesale and promotion till the product reaches the customer should be done in a correct way to prevent the spoil of the crops or the loss of the nutritional value of the product that may cause various health problems. The opportunity is now available for exchanging information and experiences providing advice and guidance about food safety. The workshop aims at: 1. Enhancing partnerships and building the skills needed for improving healthy types of food and food security for the family. 2. Helping the developing NGOs and civil society institutions to implement and evaluate the programs in order to enhance food security and increase awareness of healthy food patterns. 3. Finding the suitable solutions for food shortage problems and trying to decrease the negative impact of food on people's health. Topics of The workshop: 1.
