Mr. Kouchiro Matsura the General Director of UNESCO, has awarded Dr. Layla Karam El-Din – Former professor of psychology in the Higher Institute for children, Ein Shams University and the president of children and kindergarden Sector in the supreme council of universities- the "Jan Mous kominos" prize for 2008 in the Middle East. This prize is allocated to outstanding figures that made unique achievements in the field of education researches and studies. ISESCO has nominated Prof. Layla Karam El-Din for this prize and she would receive it in a ceremony to be held in Geneva during the 48th session of Education world conference from 25to28 November 2008.
